Who-Hows
Hire Movers is an online marketplace that helps connect people moving with professional movers nationwide.
To make sure we’re only listing the best, movers must meet specific criteria based on their; average customer reviews, responsiveness, job acceptance rate, likelihood of showing up on time and completing a damage-free move.
Select the service needed along with the date, time & location to filter available movers in your area. Pick a team to hire, finalize the booking request by completing the confirmation page with any additional details. That’s it!
All movers on our marketplace have contractually agreed to provide, at minimum, basic damage protection. In the event of damages, you should first contact your movers directly to try and reach a resolution. Each Hire Movers order is covered by $0.60 per pound. (For more information click here)

Should i?
The earlier the better. You typically want to coordinate movers within one or two weeks of your scheduled move date.
No you shouldn’t have to. However, the movers will ultimately make that decision.
You should plan to disconnect & reconnect appliances yourself. Movers usually don’t do this for liability reasons.
It’s common practice to tip your movers for a job well done. Gratuity is always appreciated but never expected. We recommend $10-$20 each for smaller moves & $30 each or more for larger moves.
